Boundaries are Beautiful with Dori Midnight | Tuesday, July 22 6-7:30PM
Do you have a hard time saying no? Have you ever done something and later wished you hadn’t done it? In this workshop we will learn tools and exercises for self-awareness and communication. Great for folks who work in social services, sex work, caretaking, or anyone who wants to learn how to be yourself around other human beings!
Legal Name & Gender Change Clinic with the Transgender Law Center | Wednesday, July 24 6-7PM
This workshop will cover how to change your California and federal identity documents to match your chosen name and gender identity. Ben Lunine, an attorney with the Transgender Law Center will walk you through how to go about getting a court ordered name change and changing your name on your identity documents, as well as what the standards are for changing your gender with the DMV, Social Security, USCIS, US Passport. Ben will be available for one-on-one consultations on changing identity documents for the last half hour. Translation into Spanish available.
Overdose Prevention Workshop with the DOPE (Drug Overdose Prevention & Education) Project | Wednesday, July 30, 1PM-2:30PM
Drug overdose is one of the leading causes of accidental death in San Francisco. But overdoses don't have to be fatal. Learn how to prevent an overdose with tips on staying safe and what to do to help someone experiencing an overdose. This training, brought to you by the Drug Overdose Prevention and Education (DOPE) Project, is free and available to all trans and gender-nonconforming folks who want to learn how to save a life.

We offer a free Meditation & Magic Workshop every Monday 2-3:30PM. Participants learn healing practices and exercises for self-care. The class if open to all trans and gender variant folks looking to unwind, relax and learn how to deal with stress, anxiety, or illness. “I’ve never felt so relaxed in my life” – Duza, meditation student.

The Frugal Gourmet is a cooking class for folks on a budget, with limited kitchen equipment. Learn how to "Dine on a Dime"! Facilitated by TRANS: THRIVE Case Manager extraordinaire, Nichole Thierry. Every Monday from 4-6PM.
Featured Group: Ladies who Lunch| Wednesdays 12PM-1PM
This is a NEW peer-led support group for MTF transgender and gender variant current drug-users and recovering drug-users. Participants share a home-cooked meal while they check in about their lives and their drug use. Facilitated by TRANS: THRIVE Peer Leader, Jimmy Segovia.

Latina/o Group
A bilingual group for transgender Latino/as to talk, relax, and support each other.
Workshops
These cover a different topic each week. Examples include: HIV, self-esteem & coping skills, protection from violence, substance use treatment, sexuality, transition, and more. Attend five workshops and receive a $20 gift card (one time only).
Movie Night
Kick back and relax with a movie and friends. We’ll bring the popcorn.
Knitty Gritty
This is a knitting circle for transgender women over the age of 45 to get together, socialize and support each other.
Movie & Discussion
Watch a movie and enjoy a facilitated discussion with your peers.
Yoga
Stretch out the stress! This is free and open to all levels.
Meditation
Look inward to relax, heal, and transform! This class will cover a range of styles and techniques and is always open to beginners.
Job Counseling
Come speak to someone about your employment goals! A representative from the Transgender Economic Empowerment Initiative will provide individual assessments to identify employment goals and give you feedback on how your skills and interests match the workforce. Resume assistance
The Frugal Gourmet
This class covers the basics of cooking with inexpensive or free ingredients and simple equipment. Learn to cook without a kitchen!
FTM Group
This group is for female-to-male (FTM) people, transguys, butches, studs, genderqueers
two-spirited, third-gendered, questioning folks, trannyfags, trannyboys, boydykes, transmen, papis, transmasculine folks and whatever else you call yourself.
HIV and Hepatitis C Testing
The Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center provides free HIV and Hep C testing and counseling. Get your HIV results in 20 minutes!
