Fiona Ma – California State Assembly Majority Whip

Assemblywoman Fiona Ma’s fearless support of health care reform and Asian & Pacific Islander issues has made her a political icon in the A&PI community. As the 12th Assembly District representative to the California State Assembly and Majority Whip, she is the highest ranking Asian American woman in the California Legislature. The Assemblywoman’s political track record—in particular her recent initiatives supporting low cost health insurance, funding to learn more about HIV in seniors, and her Hep B Free campaign—has shown her commitment to the health and vitality of all our communities.

We honor Assemblywoman Ma for her invaluable work to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in A&PI communities and beyond.
