The first contest was held on Saturday, December 18, 1999.
The grand prize winner was Chanel for her moving rendition
of Khristine W's Land of the Living. The second place trophy
went to Platinum Fox who strutted her stuff to Tina Turner's
Proud Mary. Karla took third place performing to the Spanish
version of The Life in Rose.
