METAMORPHOSIS GIRLS
(Click on photo to return to thumbnails)

A&PIWC's Metamorphosis Girls perform the Maranaw Fan Dance at the Asian & Pacific Islander Stage at Pride 2000. The dance is used to entertain dignitaries and was usually performed during Royal weddings. The dance is commonly performed by single Maranaw women looking for attention and romance. CLUB EUPHORIA! is A&PIWC's Transgender social/support group -- a safe and nurturing space for making new friends, companionship, and uninhibited discussion. Members gather twice a month, and talk about a wide range of interests and issues affecting the community: from make-over tips and personal experiences, to legal and immigration concerns, domestic violence, harassment, discrimination and employment opportunities. Check out our calendar of upcoming events for the next meeting or call A&PIWC at 415.292.3400.
