WOMEN & GIRLS HIV/AIDS AWARENESS AND WELLNESS DAY

On March 28, the Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center plans to commemorate National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day with a Wellness Day. We have an afternoon planned of different activities, as well as information about health and well-being.

2:00—3:00 p.m.: Plenary featuring:
Naomi Jay, NP of UCSF discussing HPV

Cynthia Feakins, NP of UCSF/SFGH discussing Women’s Health

Stella Chang of AWS discussing domestic violence

3:00—5:30 p.m.: Breakout sessions featuring:

Acupuncture
Blood Pressure Exams
Breast Exams
HIV Testing
Lei Making
Massages
Mehendi

Please note, acupuncture starts at 3:30. All other activities end at 5:00 p.m.
5:30—6:30 p.m.: Self Defense Class
6:30—7:00 p.m.: Belly Dancing Class

Child watch will be provided. Light refreshments will be served.
